Classical Sequence as it is now called (for many years it was known as Old Time) is a very beautiful form of dance covering Quick Waltz's, Two Steps, Tangos, Gavottes and Saunters.
During the last 100 years it has been taught and enjoyed in the U.K. by social dancers of all ages.
Competitions in Classical dancing have been extremely popular over the years and enjoyed by both dancers and spectators. These are organised by teachers all over the country, including Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
It is interesting to know that couples from all around the world compete against our many British competitors, including Adults and Children, at the Annual British Championships held in Blackpool.
It is obvious that Classical and Modern Sequence Dancing is extremely popular with social dancers, medallists and competitors, so why not join a school of dance and learn with the NATD.
