New Award for 2009 |
The Maude Wells Award 2009 commences from 1st January 2009.
Awards as follows: One Dance Test, Rainbow, Bronze, Silver
& Gold. |

Street Dance Professional Examination |
To qualify for Associate Membership candidates must gain Module 1 plus Module 2 which may be taken together (Associate) or separately. Holders of a Freestyle qualification need only take Module 2. |

ALL EXAMINATION FEES |
From the 1st January 2009 all examinations fees will be increased.

Changes in the Marking of Theatrical Examinations |
As from 1st September 2008, in response to Examiners' and Teachers' requests, the marking of all graded work in the Acrobatic and Contemporary Branches as well as all the Theatrical Medal Tests and Awards will be brought into line with the marking of Graded and Vocational examinations as follows:
Distinction 80 - 100 marks
Merit 60 - 79
Pass 40 - 59
Standard not yet attained 0 - 39
The Rainbow examinations will continue to be marked with Distintion, Merit and Pass with no actual marks being given as at present.
Please note that this way of marking cannnot apply to the Freestyle & Street Dance examinations as these come under the aupices of the Ballroom Branches which have a different marking system. |

2008 Special Award |
The Frederick Barlow Award will commence on 1st January 2008 on the same format as previous special awards. |

Rainbow Awards |
As from 1st September All Red Rainbows Awards will receive the Sun and Nameplate engraved with the pupils name. |

Leisure Tap Cabaret Awards |
These awards have been extended to SIX AWARDS. |

All Ballroom Branches |
From immediate effect GRADE THREE Examinations will now require THREE dances instead of two.
Two or Three Dances will remain optional until 1st January 2008. |

PRESIDENT AWARD 2008 |
The New President's Award 2008 for all Branches. Successful candidates will received a engraved Cup and Diploma.

NEW THEATRICAL MARKING SYSTEM |
From 1st January 2007, a marking system for all the Theatrical Graded and Vocational Examinations will be introduced. Centre Numbers will be given to the teachers venue addresses. All entering pupils will be given a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to be used in NATD Examinations. |

PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATIONS |
From the 1st January 2004 the present Membership Examination will
be known as Licentiate. |

STREET DANCE EXAMINATIONS |
Examinations are available from One Dance Tests up to Premier Awards. Candidates will receive a Medal up to Gold. A Trophy from Gold Cross upwards. |

BALLROOM & LATIN AMERICAN PROFESSIONALS |
We ONLY accept the current technique taken from the I.S.T.D. Ballroom and Latin American Books. |
