Well, where do I start? What a wonderful memorable two days was had by all, having the chance to dance and spectate at the famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom. The electric atmosphere simply buzzed from start to finish. I was fortunate enough to be able to see all our NATD competitors and spectators faces as they walked into such a spectacular Ballroom. The delight and enjoyment in everyone’s expressions was heart-warming to see. No time for any nerves! We were in the famous Tower Ballroom and the adrenaline has kicked in…
The standard of dancing from our NATD teachers was second to none. I would like to congratulate them all for training and working so hard to produce such a superb high standard of dancing from all their students. The elegance of how all the competitors were immaculately groomed, dressed and presented onto the floor spoke volumes. We had a very exclusive panel of adjudicators and I know they were really impressed with our NATD standard of dancing and appearance. Well done to you all! Also, a very big thank you to all the Mums and Dads, your children’s appearance and behaviour was a credit to you.
This fantastic MOY final would not have been possible without our professional and hardworking NATD team. A big Thank You goes to all the team, in particular; Alan Waite for the beautiful music. Our compères Michelle Webster and Richard Rose who remained professional, unphased and fresh at all times. The MOY committee members, Richard Evans, June & John Barkes who worked so hard behind the scenes, also our runners tirelessly collecting the adjudicators marks. Our rock of the NATD & CEO Kevin Page. Finally, but by no means least our hard-working MOY secretary Trudi Shepherd and MOY Chairman Phil Meacham who have spent many hours organising and putting together this fabulous memorable event, ensuring everything ran so smoothly over the two days.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in Blackpool for MOY final 2020
