SUMMARY:Anglian Area 2027 MOY Qualifier
DESCRIPTION:🪩 Anglian Area Qualifying Competition for MOY 2027. \n👉 Venue: Goals Ipswich\, Suffolk New College\, College Drive off Grimwade Street\, Ipswich\, IP4 1LT \n👉 The competition will be conducted under the NATD Medallist of the Year Competition Rules 2026–2027 (Version 1.7.2)\, which come into effect from 1st August 2026. A copy of these rules is attached here for your reference. \nAlso attached is the Programme of Events\, which includes all Qualifying\, Couples’\, Special Assistance and Solo events\, together with the dances for each section. \nPlease note: \n\nSpecial Assistance events will continue as qualifying events for the 2027 Medallist of the Year Grand Finals.\nWe are delighted to introduce Solo Events for all age groups for the first time at the Anglian Area competition. Please refer to the attached programme for the event rules.\nPlease check the dances and competition rules carefully before the event.\nSome dances differ from those used at the Blackpool Medallist of the Year Grand Finals.\n\nTimings:\nDoors Open: 8:15am\nJuvenile Ballroom: 9:00am\nJunior Latin: TBC\nAdult Ballroom: TBC \nAs we are running a full double qualifying programme across all age groups\, this year’s competition will be significantly longer than usual. Please ensure your dancers and parents are aware and prepared for a full day’s competition. \nTickets:\n£20.00 per ticket \nCapacity is limited this year\, and once tickets for a particular session have sold out\, no further tickets will be available. Please submit your ticket requests as early as possible. \nWhen placing your order\, please specify: \n\nthe number of tickets required for each section (Juvenile\, Junior and Adult);\nwhether anyone intends to attend for the entire day.\n\nTicket orders should be submitted by Friday 11th September 2026. \nTickets will initially be supplied on a sale or return basis. However\, all orders must be confirmed in writing by midday on Monday 14th September 2026. After this date and time\, tickets will no longer be supplied on a sale or return basis\, and all tickets ordered will be chargeable. \nThis competition is the first qualifying event for the NATD Medallist of the Year Grand Finals 2027\, to be held at the Blackpool Winter Gardens. \nIf you have any questions\, please do not hesitate to contact Nick Kelly – anglian@natd.org.uk Anglian Area Secretary. \nWe look forward to welcoming you to Ipswich on Sunday 20th September for what promises to be an exciting day of dancing.
