Frances says: “It was a great honour, in the first place, to be nominated by The Allied Association, for this prestigious award. I was unable to attend the Awards Ceremony on the night, as we had our own Midlands Area Competition, the next morning. This Awards Ceremony, is usually an excellent evening, hosted by Chris Booth, on behalf of the TDC

Thus, it was an even greater honour, when I was addressed as “Dame Frances” by our wonderful Compere, Vicky Sheldon, who had learned of my success via Social Media (you can’t keep anything quiet these days!)

The Award on this occasion, was in the Category of” Lifetime Achievement in Dance”

I love what I do; and it’s humbling to know that I have been voted for by my peers.

Thank you all for your support. This Carl Alan, is a wonderful award, and I will treasure it along with the other awards I have won over the years.”
