Our Level 4 Diploma in Teaching Dance is available in all dance genres the NATD offer including Musical Theatre.
It is designed to support those NATD members holding an Associate or our 4B Extraordinary Membership as well as being a qualification for new members to join us with. The Level 4 Diploma will develop professional teaching skills, methods and understanding at a universally recognised level.
The Level 4 has comparability alongside qualifications in many professions in the public sphere where as the Associate qualification is genre specific and an internal qualification within NATD with recognition throughout the dance sector.
At level 4 in the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), it is broadly equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree programme.

I would definitely recommend this Diploma to anyone who wanted to go into teaching or even those who just want to gain a bit more knowledge and experience, having a year to complete the diploma also makes it very time manageable.
I believe it is a great way of personally developing as a teacher at any stage of your career. I feel grateful to the NATD for giving me the opportunity to complete this qualification and also enabling teachers, like myself, to continue with their own education and professional development.
