National Association Of Teachers of Dancing
NATD Education is a new initiative. We are excited to be introducing and organising a series of initiatives and projects across the regions the NATD are currently working in. Our work is focusing on outreach work into schools and community projects to support dance in and out of schools. To support and promote our work we have a dedicated member of staff in our NATD head office.
Our unique aim as a dance organisation is to create more unity and collaboration between education and specialist dance teachers. The projects and initiatives below are some of the ways we are designing opportunities to strengthen links between dance education and the wider dance community. We are generating new partnerships and relationships, as well as championing our current successful connections.
Level 3 Certificate for Dance Teaching Assistant
Available from January 1st 2024.
Designed for those wishing to gain a qualification and experience as a dance teaching assistant.
NATD Level 4 Teaching Diplomas
Designed for those NATD members holding an Associate in any of the genres listed on the specification, to develop their professional teaching skills, methods and understanding at a universally recognised level.
Further/Higher Education
We are continually developing links with universities and colleges to support their students as they move from education into the world of dance.
Graduates
Our new Graduate 4B membership is exclusive to the NATD - we are the only organisation offering a special priced membership for recent graduates.
