North Midland Ballroom Area Medallist of the Year Qualifying Competition, taking place in Kirkby-in-Ashfield on Sunday, 15th November 2026.
Venue: Kirkby Leisure Centre, Hodgkinson Road Kirkby-in-Ashfield Nottinghamshire NG17 7DJ
👉 The competition will be conducted under the NATD Medallist of the Year Competition Rules 2026–2027 (Version 1.7.2), effective from 1st August 2026.
❗A copy of these rules is attached for your reference, along with the Programme of Events.
Please check the dances and competition rules carefully before the event.
Dances may differ from those used at the Blackpool Medallist of the Year Grand Finals.
👉 Timings: Doors Open: 8:45am Competition Commences: 9:15am
👉 As we are running a full double qualifying programme across all age groups, please ensure your dancers and parents are aware and prepared for a full day’s competition.
💵 Tickets: £20.00 per ticket.
❗ Capacity is limited, and once tickets have sold out, no further tickets will be available. Please submit your ticket requests as early as possible. When placing your order, please specify the number of tickets required for each section (Juvenile, Junior, and Adult).
⭐ Ticket orders should be submitted by Friday, 6th November 2026. Tickets will initially be supplied on a sale-or-return basis; however, all orders must be confirmed in writing by midday on Monday, 9th November 2026. After this date and time, tickets will no longer be supplied on a sale-or-return basis, and all tickets ordered will be chargeable.
This competition is a qualifying event for the NATD Medallist of the Year Grand Finals 2027, to be held at the Blackpool Winter Gardens.
