đĒŠ Anglian Area Qualifying Competition for MOY 2027.

đ The competition will be conducted under the NATD Medallist of the Year Competition Rules 2026â2027 (Version 1.7.2), which come into effect from 1st August 2026. A copy of these rules is attached here for your reference.
Also attached is the Programme of Events, which includes all Qualifying, Couples’, Special Assistance and Solo events, together with the dances for each section.
Please note:
- Special Assistance events will continue as qualifying events for the 2027 Medallist of the Year Grand Finals.
- We are delighted to introduce Solo Events for all age groups for the first time at the Anglian Area competition. Please refer to the attached programme for the event rules.
- Please check the dances and competition rules carefully before the event.
- Some dances differ from those used at the Blackpool Medallist of the Year Grand Finals.

As we are running a full double qualifying programme across all age groups, this year’s competition will be significantly longer than usual. Please ensure your dancers and parents are aware and prepared for a full day’s competition.
Tickets:
ÂŖ20.00 per ticket
Capacity is limited this year, and once tickets for a particular session have sold out, no further tickets will be available. Please submit your ticket requests as early as possible.
When placing your order, please specify:
- the number of tickets required for each section (Juvenile, Junior and Adult);
- whether anyone intends to attend for the entire day.
Ticket orders should be submitted by Friday 11th September 2026.
Tickets will initially be supplied on a sale or return basis. However, all orders must be confirmed in writing by midday on Monday 14th September 2026. After this date and time, tickets will no longer be supplied on a sale or return basis, and all tickets ordered will be chargeable.
This competition is the first qualifying event for the NATD Medallist of the Year Grand Finals 2027, to be held at the Blackpool Winter Gardens.
