DANCE GENRES: Ballet, Modern, Tap & Contemporary
HEAT VENUE: Wilmslow Leisure Centre, SK9 1BU

Candidates will participate in a 30-minute class in the dance genre/s they’ve entered. These classes, conducted by experienced professionals with extensive knowledge in the mentioned dance genres, aim to showcase the participants’ skills.
Area organizers will appoint adjudicators for the heats, with each candidate being marked out of 50. In case of multiple adjudicators, the marks will be averaged to determine an individual overall score. The top 5 scoring candidates from each category and section will advance to the Grand Finals of solo performances in Birmingham on Sunday, 6th October.

BALLET, TAP, MODERN & CONTEMPORARY 2024 THEATRICAL SCHOLARSHIPS.
🏆 AWARDS: The Scholarship winners in each genre and age section will receive a £100 prize fund and a trophy award. A payment will be issued to the School Principal of each Scholarship winner, intended for their students’ continued training with that particular school. Runner-up and 3rd place will receive a commemorative award. All finalists will receive a participation trophy.
🏆 SPECIAL AWARDS: Chosen by adjudicators, these awards recognize competitors demonstrating potential or standing out in some way, not necessarily as the winners. Judges will explain their reasons for selecting these candidates on the Finals day.
