During the last 100 years it has been taught and enjoyed in the UK by social dancers of all ages.

Competitions in Classical Dancing have been extremely popular over the years and enjoyed by both dancers and spectators. These are organised by teachers all over the country.

It is interesting to know that couples from all around the world compete against many British competitors, adults and children alike, at the Annual British Championships held in Blackpool.

It is obvious that Classical and Modern Sequence Dancing is extremely popular with social dancers, medallists and competitors with the NATD hosting their own annual Inventive Dance Competition.
